The latest work by Free Babyronia was composed for an exhibition centered on the theme of rivers, created in collaboration with photographer Tomoko Iki and decorative artist Saori Okuda.
The creative process began with the search for an ideal water source, leading to field recordings that captured the acoustic qualities of the natural environment.
by incorporating ethnic instruments, electronic tones, and strings in an experimental manner, the piece evokes both an organic warmth and sweeping sonic dynamics.

The second track, a dub mix produced by Free Babyronia himself, expands on the original composition with playful drumming, sub-bass, mellow sampling, and synths. Layered with polyrhythms, it transforms into a bright and psychedelic reinterpretation.

The artwork features a river photograph by Noriko Iki, created using a multiple exposure technique.

Through this method, the ceaseless dance of flowing water is distilled into a single frame—transcending time and space.

The resulting image, composed of overlapping visual layers, reveals patterns that are both ethereal and cosmic—like a universe compressed into a moment of radiant stillness.

Free Babyroniaの新作は、写真家 / 壹岐倫子と、装飾作家 / 奥田早織による、川をテーマにした展示会のために制作されました。

素材として環境音を録るため、理想的な水源の探求から始まり、自然環境の音響的特性を捉えたfieldrecordingが行われました。

民族楽器、電子音、ストリングスを実験的に扱いながら、素朴な温かさと、壮大なダイナミクスが表現されています。

自らが手掛ける2曲目のDub Mixは、原曲のサンプルを展開しつつ、軽快なドラミングにサブベース、サンプリングやシンセ、ポリリズムを散りばめ、陽気でサイケデリックに再解釈したRemixに変貌を遂げています。

アートワークの写真は、写真家の壹岐倫子が撮影した、多重露光による川の写真です。

川という動き続ける水の舞踏を、多重露光の技法により、時間と空間の制約を超えて1枚の写真に映し出しています。

重なるレイヤーが映し出したその姿は、華麗で幽玄な模様を露わにしています。
